- Some of our Audiologists are clinically vulnerable and may ask you to wear a type iiR mask and will provide one if required. We thank you for your cooperation
- We strongly recommend that you soften your ear wax with Earol spray, 2 squirts in each ear (optionally with the addition of 2 drops of glycerol), 4 times a day for at least 5 days prior to your appointment. If you want to use cotton wool to hold the oil in, first saturate the cotton wool in petroleum jelly (such as Vaseline), so the cotton wool doesn’t soak up all the Earol. Make sure you squirt the Earol over a sink until you see oil spray out in order to expel any air prior to application.

I blocked my left ear by using an earbud without thinking and thus impaired my hearing a great deal. I used olive oil for 10 days to soften the wax to see if earwax softens and unblocks on its own, but that did not work. So I chose this clinic after perusing good reviews. Beth was very efficient and after a lot of effort managed to get the stubborne wax out of deep inside the ear canal. My hearing is now restored to its previous level. I can recommend this clinic to anyone.

Suffering chronically with hardened wax and annual deafness for the past 50 years or so, i had always had my ears cleared by irrigation by my Doctor. Since as this is no longer possible and we all have to pay for the relief, I booked in for microsuction. Comparing the two treatments I personally prefer irrigation because it seemed easier to clear the blockages and was far less noisy. I do admit that when I can hear, I am sound sensitive so microsuction procedure for me was not very pleasent. There was no discomfort and It was a relief to hear again. I cannot fault the clinician, who was professional in every way but the booking facility on the website was a nightmare. I reported the issues I was having and got a disinterested response from admin which was why I deduct a star. They need to get their IT working properly!

My ears were driving me (and my partner) crazy, they just seemed to be really blocked all of a sudden. Managed to get an appointment within 48 hours at the Ashford branch. Extremely relaxed atmosphere and the whole procedure was explained to me throughout. I was panicking to start, thanks to an early childhood nightmare experience, but there was no issue at all. All over and done with in 15 mins. Thank you again. You saved my relationship :)))

An excellent first class service. Andrew removed my stubborn hard to remove earwax in 15 minutes. Apart from a little discomfort it was entirely pain free. I have recommended this company to all my friends and family and will certainly go back regularly to avoid wax build up in the future.
