- Some of our Audiologists are clinically vulnerable and may ask you to wear a type iiR mask and will provide one if required. We thank you for your cooperation
- We strongly recommend that you soften your ear wax with Earol spray, 2 squirts in each ear (optionally with the addition of 2 drops of glycerol), 4 times a day for at least 5 days prior to your appointment. If you want to use cotton wool to hold the oil in, first saturate the cotton wool in petroleum jelly (such as Vaseline), so the cotton wool doesn’t soak up all the Earol. Make sure you squirt the Earol over a sink until you see oil spray out in order to expel any air prior to application.

This procedure took very little time: I was probably in and out within five minutes. No discomfort or pain. My only disappointment was with the website which was not clear how to navigate. When I asked for a password reset, it took a day to receive it. Webpage said there was a discount for American Express which of course there wasn’t, only any extra charge.

My 87 year old mother had micro suction on both ears performed by Anca Candet at Pinner. Anna was very helpful and patient with my mother who has severe mobility issues. After the procedure was complete, she spent time with us to offer advice on how to prepare for a forthcoming hearing aid appointment. I would recommend this service to anyone who as impacted ear wax issues.
