- Ear Wax Removal provided by one of our expert practitioners for patients aged 18+.
- For children aged 12 – 17, please book an appointment at Microsuction Ear Wax Removal (Age 12 – 17)
- Some of our Audiologists are clinically vulnerable and may ask you to wear a type iiR mask and will provide one if required. We thank you for your cooperation
- We strongly recommend that you soften your ear wax with Earol spray, 2 squirts in each ear (optionally with the addition of 2 drops of glycerol), 4 times a day for at least 5 days prior to your appointment. If you want to use cotton wool to hold the oil in, first saturate the cotton wool in petroleum jelly (such as Vaseline), so the cotton wool doesn’t soak up all the Earol. Make sure you squirt the Earol over a sink until you see oil spray out in order to expel any air prior to application.
- Please carefully read our Terms and Conditions before booking.
IMPORTANT: Due to COVID-19 regulations, you need to complete a triage and consent form after you have booked. We cannot provide treatment without this form being completed. Please check your email, including Spam or Junk folders for your appointment confirmation email, which has a link to the form. Alternatively, go to https://www.hearingfirst.co.uk/my-account/orders/, view your order and click on the link.

I saw Beth in the Ashby who was extremely helpful and quick in removing wax. She explained everything and provided helpful after care advice as I had never had an ear problem before. Easy to book an appointment and a good price. Would definitely use again and highly recommend.

Graham Soame & Valerie Soame –
My daughter Valerie and I simply wanted to check if our poorer than average hearing was due to ear wax, and we were very pleased with the outcome. Our hearing is better, though we both will now have a hearing check as the “next stage” in our hearing care. Thanks for the stress free approach, much appreciated.

After trying to manage my blocked ear for a couple of weeks and the ongoing difficulties in trying to get an appointed via my GP. I opted to go private and found Hearing First through a simple google search, the whole process was very easy and was greeted by Jason and Leena on arrival. The procedure itself was explained in detail and over relatively quickly and I would recommend this clinic for anyone else who suffers with blocked ears
