- Some of our Audiologists are clinically vulnerable and may ask you to wear a type iiR mask and will provide one if required. We thank you for your cooperation
- We strongly recommend that you soften your ear wax with Earol spray, 2 squirts in each ear (optionally with the addition of 2 drops of glycerol), 4 times a day for at least 5 days prior to your appointment. If you want to use cotton wool to hold the oil in, first saturate the cotton wool in petroleum jelly (such as Vaseline), so the cotton wool doesn’t soak up all the Earol. Make sure you squirt the Earol over a sink until you see oil spray out in order to expel any air prior to application.

Excellent, we have had Breda before and she is always very careful (my mother’s ear canals are very narrow). We are in for another appointment but the hearing has improved vastly already and my life as a carer is much improved!

I was treated by Mary at Welwyn who was excellent, she explained all that was going to happen and removed the wax very quickly and painlessly. I was amazed at how much wax was removed which resulted in much clearer hearing especially in the higher frequencies

Sadly I found the link I was given by text from Robert did not work, I
spent several hours trying to find the consent form to fill in!
My order details were incorrect, it stated that I was booked in at Bushfields Medical Centre, no such place exists! It is actually needed to go to the Willow Tree Surgery, this is type of error is so unnecessary and very frustrating. 😖

I have nothing but the highest admiration for Mary for the high degree of professionalism, competence and consideration she displayed at today’s session. My first experience of wax removal. Mary was very calm and reassuring at what was not an easy process as wax was impacted. She remained calm and made me feel confident that she knew what she was doing. Hearing back to normal after spending 2 weeks in a bubble
