- Ear Wax Removal provided by one of our expert practitioners for patients aged 18+.
- For children aged 12 – 17, please book an appointment at Microsuction Ear Wax Removal (Age 12 – 17)
- Some of our Audiologists are clinically vulnerable and may ask you to wear a type iiR mask and will provide one if required. We thank you for your cooperation
- We strongly recommend that you soften your ear wax with Earol spray, 2 squirts in each ear (optionally with the addition of 2 drops of glycerol), 4 times a day for at least 5 days prior to your appointment. If you want to use cotton wool to hold the oil in, first saturate the cotton wool in petroleum jelly (such as Vaseline), so the cotton wool doesn’t soak up all the Earol. Make sure you squirt the Earol over a sink until you see oil spray out in order to expel any air prior to application.
- Please carefully read our Terms and Conditions before booking.
IMPORTANT: Due to COVID-19 regulations, you need to complete a triage and consent form after you have booked. We cannot provide treatment without this form being completed. Please check your email, including Spam or Junk folders for your appointment confirmation email, which has a link to the form. Alternatively, go to https://www.hearingfirst.co.uk/my-account/orders/, view your order and click on the link.

Excellent service from Beth rang to let me know I can go in and was met at the door and welcomed me with a pleasant manner and talked me through the whole process.

Booking the treatment online was easy (although I was shocked I had to go to Stokenchurch as there were no appointments available in my tiny hamlet of Reading!). The service itself was professional and efficient – although I did drive in and out of the NHS Medical Centre car-park twice as it was unclear if Hearing First was actually based there. Hence knocking a star off for the stress of trying to locate the place with minutes to go. By Saturday my hearing was back to normal and I was able to sing at a charity concert with no trouble as I could hear the rest of the band. Thanks

Having to wear hearing aids, I suffer from earwax building up in the ear canal and being compacted. Have in the past used water irrigation which has sometimes been painful! Now its micro suction every time. Met by a lovely lady Mary who carried out the treatment, excellent service by such a nice kind lady. My treatment was painless and very quick. Tip, I would recommend using Earol for a couple of weeks prior to treatment it does make life easier. Big thank you to you Mary . Nick x

My practitioner was very professional, greeted me at the door and ensured we both adhered to current COVID guidelines. They clearly explained the process and continued to give updates during the treatment. The outcome is my hearing has been hugely improved and it has also reduced much of the symptoms of tinnitus I’ve had for some years. Hugely recommended.
