- Some of our Audiologists are clinically vulnerable and may ask you to wear a type iiR mask and will provide one if required. We thank you for your cooperation
- We strongly recommend that you soften your ear wax with Earol spray, 2 squirts in each ear (optionally with the addition of 2 drops of glycerol), 4 times a day for at least 5 days prior to your appointment. If you want to use cotton wool to hold the oil in, first saturate the cotton wool in petroleum jelly (such as Vaseline), so the cotton wool doesn’t soak up all the Earol. Make sure you squirt the Earol over a sink until you see oil spray out in order to expel any air prior to application.

A professional and efficient service. The first canal was successfully cleared using microsuction. Following assessment of hard impacted wax deep in the narrow second canal, Samantha re-booked me for one week. She had gauged that there might be a risk of scratching if the wax was not more pliable, and gave clear instructions on a suitable regime using special ear drops. Not the first time I’ve had earwax removed by procedure…but easily the best. Samantha was courtesy and professionalism personified throughout the procedure. She showed me how much wax was removed from each ear, advised me on the best product to use to reduce future blockage and was clear as to what NOT to do and what NOT to use. First time having such treatment. Saw Elena at the Iver location. She was fantastic, explained the process clearly. Took about 10 minutes in total to do both ears. I didn’t realise how much wax I had and how much it had impacted my hearing. Feel like I have new ears now
