- Some of our Audiologists are clinically vulnerable and may ask you to wear a type iiR mask and will provide one if required. We thank you for your cooperation
- We strongly recommend that you soften your ear wax with Earol spray, 2 squirts in each ear (optionally with the addition of 2 drops of glycerol), 4 times a day for at least 5 days prior to your appointment. If you want to use cotton wool to hold the oil in, first saturate the cotton wool in petroleum jelly (such as Vaseline), so the cotton wool doesn’t soak up all the Earol. Make sure you squirt the Earol over a sink until you see oil spray out in order to expel any air prior to application.

Excellent earwax removal. Jonathan was friendly and professional. He explained that I had made the situation worse by overuse of proprietary earwax removal brand and advised that I would need to leave ear to dry out for a few days in order for hearing to be fully restored. He also checked out my other ear, which I thought was OK, and found wax in that which he removed. It was easy to find Hearing First at the Stokenchurch Medical Centre and there was free and convenient parking.
