- Ear Wax Removal provided by one of our expert practitioners for patients aged 18+.
- For children aged 12 – 17, please book an appointment at Microsuction Ear Wax Removal (Age 12 – 17)
- Some of our Audiologists are clinically vulnerable and may ask you to wear a type iiR mask and will provide one if required. We thank you for your cooperation
- We strongly recommend that you soften your ear wax with Earol spray, 2 squirts in each ear (optionally with the addition of 2 drops of glycerol), 4 times a day for at least 5 days prior to your appointment. If you want to use cotton wool to hold the oil in, first saturate the cotton wool in petroleum jelly (such as Vaseline), so the cotton wool doesn’t soak up all the Earol. Make sure you squirt the Earol over a sink until you see oil spray out in order to expel any air prior to application.
- Please carefully read our Terms and Conditions before booking.
IMPORTANT: Due to COVID-19 regulations, you need to complete a triage and consent form after you have booked. We cannot provide treatment without this form being completed. Please check your email, including Spam or Junk folders for your appointment confirmation email, which has a link to the form. I was suffering from such bad wax build up that one ear was virtually deaf and rapidly becoming painful. This procedure, which was undertaken at the Hinckley branch, has swiftly returned me to full clarity of hearing. I genuinely feel better overall in myself.
As wax builds up slowly over many years it’s clear to me now that the effects catch up with you by stealth. I now realise that I’d been struggling with partial hearing and even maybe balance issues for a while. I cannot recommend this process enough and want people to realise that keeping ears clear of too much wax is critical for your personal wellbeing.

I’ve been suffering deterioration in my hearing over several years, leading to unwillingness to go anywhere with loud background noise (everything from going out in a group or to a party or simply watching TV/films/radio with complicated soundtracks. I’ve had two microsuction treatments over a year, which have made me able to leave a full life again.

I came to see Beth today as I was living in a bubble since Friday. I had stupidly managed to push wax right into my ear canal with a cotton wool stick when trying to clean them. 3 days of being pretty deaf was enough for anyone! Beth used the suction machine to remove the wax and within a couple of minutes I could hear clearly again, I could have hugged her! Thank you Beth for rectifying my silly mistake.

Excellent, very professional and put my mother at ease immediately. She commented later that she thought she was a lovely person. Very happy with the service we have had so far. Found something that our GP missed. Accommodated wheelchair easily in quite small room. Easy access to get through to room.
