- Some of our Audiologists are clinically vulnerable and may ask you to wear a type iiR mask and will provide one if required. We thank you for your cooperation
- We strongly recommend that you soften your ear wax with Earol spray, 2 squirts in each ear (optionally with the addition of 2 drops of glycerol), 4 times a day for at least 5 days prior to your appointment. If you want to use cotton wool to hold the oil in, first saturate the cotton wool in petroleum jelly (such as Vaseline), so the cotton wool doesn’t soak up all the Earol. Make sure you squirt the Earol over a sink until you see oil spray out in order to expel any air prior to application.

I had microsuction to both my ears today. Anca who carried out the procedure was welcoming and professional and extremely reassuring. I became dizzy during the procedure and she held my hand and talked to me until the dizziness stopped. The whole procedure took about 30 minutes, and in that time I felt like a Queen totally taken care of. I cannot recommend Anca highly enough for gentleness, thoroughness and kindness.
