- We strongly recommend that you soften your ear wax with Earol spray, 2 squirts in each ear (optionally with the addition of 2 drops of glycerol), 4 times a day for at least 5 days prior to your appointment. If you want to use cotton wool to hold the oil in, first saturate the cotton wool in petroleum jelly (such as Vaseline), so the cotton wool doesn’t soak up all the Earol. Make sure you squirt the Earol over a sink until you see oil spray out in order to expel any air prior to application.

I attended here on Wednesday morning after getting a last minute booking. My hearing had become increasingly worse over a few weeks to the point where I could barely hear my family talking whilst sitting next to them with wearing my hearing aids and was completely deaf without wearing them. I was very nervous and I knew I wouldn’t be able to hear what was being said to me but needn’t have been. Beth was fantastic, totally understanding of my needs and allowed my husband in to be my ears during the procedure.
The procedure itself was totally painless and even quite relaxing , and surprisingly quick. I was amazed how well I could hear afterwards. Everyone we met was very friendly, all still following Covid mask rulles etc.
A brilliant service which I will not only be using again , but will be recommending to all who needs it. Thankyou Beth and team .

I was influenced by the reviews in booking this service, so wanted to leave one myself. Having suffered for several weeks with impacted ear wax, with almost total hearing loss by the end, I had micro suction with Hearing First last week. Jason was very professional and patient with me (I was quite nervous). He explained the procedure clearly and thoroughly and the procedure itself was fairly quick and successful. My hearing was restored in full by the end and it was a huge relief. Jason also gave some helpful advice re future ear care. I would highly recommend this practice, and will return again if I ever need this procedure again.

The treatment that I received can only be described as 5 star. Jonathan Potter was most helpful in every way. He had no easy task as my ear channels are very narrow with a profusion of hair inside, which Jonathan managed to clear. It is so wonderful to be able to hear clearly again. So if you have a wax problem, you now know where to go!

No fuss the procedures were carried out by BETH. She kept me informed of what was happening so there was no problem. The result being that my hearing was restored in
full.I wish I would have had the treatment before.
