- Ear Wax Removal provided by one of our expert practitioners for patients aged 18+.
- For children aged 12 – 17, please book an appointment at Microsuction Ear Wax Removal (Age 12 – 17)
- Some of our Audiologists are clinically vulnerable and may ask you to wear a type iiR mask and will provide one if required. We thank you for your cooperation
- We strongly recommend that you soften your ear wax with Earol spray, 2 squirts in each ear (optionally with the addition of 2 drops of glycerol), 4 times a day for at least 5 days prior to your appointment. If you want to use cotton wool to hold the oil in, first saturate the cotton wool in petroleum jelly (such as Vaseline), so the cotton wool doesn’t soak up all the Earol. Make sure you squirt the Earol over a sink until you see oil spray out in order to expel any air prior to application.
- Please carefully read our Terms and Conditions before booking.
IMPORTANT: Due to COVID-19 regulations, you need to complete a triage and consent form after you have booked. We cannot provide treatment without this form being completed. Please check your email, including Spam or Junk folders for your appointment confirmation email, which has a link to the form. Alternatively, go to https://www.hearingfirst.co.uk/my-account/orders/, view your order and click on the link.

My ear had been blocked for a week with wax and normally I would have them syringed but that is noisy, sometimes painful and leaves me with water in my ear. So I booked a micosuction treatment with Beth to remove it. The procedure was quick and painless. Highly recommended. I will never have them syringed again which is what most doctors surgeries do. Using ear oil drops the week before really helps to remove the ear wax more easily.

Leena was very courteous and professional. The procedure was painless. I have to return as not all the wax could be removed without further olive oil being applied, but I was given a 40% discount code for my return visit. Would definitely recommend.

Beth was a lovely lady, friendly and answered all my question. She did a great job, all ear wax removed.
I gave a 4 star rating as I thought £79 for both ears was expensive. I was told I could save money if I booked directly online. I will definitely book online next time I need treatment.

Having used olive oil for a number of days before my appointment it was a matter of In, micro-suction to both ears and out again. It took about 10 minutes. Beth is a very good practitioner. Recommend the service.

I chose Henley Road Medical Centre because of the review about it. One of my ear was completely blocked. I was a bit scared and hoped will get back my hearing properly. Beth explained what will happen and why did it happened. It was a quick and professional treatment within 15 mins I get back my ears. I was super happy. It was not painful at all, just a bit weird noise but nothing else anyway. I would recommend to other who would have problems with ears.

After a week of struggling with a badly blocked right ear, loss of hearing and feeling completely disoriented, I saw Mary yesterday in East Finchley and she efficiently clearned both ears (it appears the left also needed cleaning), and although I don’t think my ears have quite equalised the pressure yet, I can hear, I don’t feel so ‘bunged up’, and I can safely fly off on holiday next week – if my flight isn’t cancelled!!! :). Would definitely use again if I need to.
