The ReSound One is the first receiver in canal hearing aid platform to place the microphone into the ear canal. This microphone position takes advantage of the natural acoustic and directional properties of the ear, greatly enhancing the naturalness of sound in normal listening situations. In more challenging situations, it works in conjunction with the other two microphones on each instrument to enhance speech above background noise.
The MRIE (Microphone & Receiver In Ear) receivers are an optional extra and cost an additional £70 each when purchased separately.
