Hearing Aid Adjustment (30 mins)

Description

This is a 30-minute hearing aid adjustment appointment for one or both hearing aids.

If your hearing aids need servicing, we will be limited as to what we can achieve in a face to face appointment, so please contact Customer Services by email at ku.oc.tsrifgniraehobfsctd-670fd8@ofni or call 0800 1 337 717 to arrange for your hearing aid(s) to be sent in for service first, and only book once you have received them back from the manufacturer.

For hearing aids purchased elsewhere, the price includes entry of an audiogram taken within the last 6 months and  setting of the hearing aids to manufacturer’s first fit, plus insitu audiometry where the hearing aids are capable of this function. The customer will be given the choice of the manufacturer’s fitting formula, NAL-NL2 or DSLv5, and acclimatisation level 1, 2 or 3. All technology features, eg. noise reduction and directional microphones, will be set to the manufacturer’s default settings. The customer is responsible for ensuring that ear moulds, thin tubes, receiver strength, receiver wire length and dome type and size are appropriate for their hearing loss and ear anatomy. Ear impressions and supply of ear moulds or receivers are chargeable separately. Further fine tuning beyond the adjustments listed above is chargeable separately.
